in floor heat
This shows the tubing for the in-floor heat installed. The concrete slab is poured on top of the tubing, which circulate hot water through the floor. The concrete radiates as well as retains the heat. It is very efficient and comfortable, but relatively expensive, and we have used it in colder climates where the heating bill would be high.
